Demonstrative adjectives are those that come together with the noun in order to indicate proximity or distance. There are three possibilities:
-The object/person is next to us: este
-When pointing or referring to something/someone that is no right next to us: ese
-When talking or referring to something/someone that is not near us, nor can we see it: aquel
